Adtel Inc. president and chief operating officer Andrew Ramos had just finished his graduate studies in the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) when headhunters started calling him for interviews with various corporations, including a bank and Adtel.
A licensed electronics and communications engineer, the De La Salle University graduate had worked in a small technology company prior to taking the Master of Business Management course full time. He was immediately attracted to the prospect of working in a technology company like Adtel, where his engineering background and management training would serve him in good stead.
Batalla, a licensed electronics and communications engineer, joined Adtel in October 1996 after stints in Compex Sales Corporation and TINA Asia/AT&T ELS. He holds a BS ECE degree from Saint Louis University and completed the Management Development Program of the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) in 1999.
Before joining Adtel, Batara was heavily involved in rural electrification projects through solar around the country. Since joining Adtel in 2009, he was able to lay down the foundation for growth by establishing seven regional offices to capture the nationwide potential of small-, medium- and large-scale opportunities in solar and water. Batara obtained his electrical engineering degree from the Technological Institute of the Philippines.
Manalansan is a licensed dentist out of the University of the East. She was a medical representative with Zuellig Pharmaceutical and a marketing assistant with Blue Cross Insurance before joining Adtel as one of the pioneer employees in March 1996.
Magboo is a seasoned professional with 20 years of experience in general and financial accounting. She is also a pioneer at Adtel, having joined the company in July 1994. She was previously general accountant at BayanTel Corporation. Magboo holds a BS Commerce degree from Saint Bridget’s College and completed AIM’s Management Leadership Program.
